Dormitory Housing Inspector

As the Dorm Housing Inspector, you will be responsible for the continuing development, implementation, support, facilitation, and communication to ensure compliance with residential life Clark Atlanta policies. Professional staff members will conduct periodic inspections of dormitory rooms and suites, which are necessary to guarantee safe living conditions. These inspections are designed to seek out and correct potentially dangerous situations before they cause damage or harm. All inspections are conducted under the guidelines in the Clark Atlanta Student Handbook.
Job Description
Housing Inspector
- Work requires knowledge of smart phone apple/android
● Alert for changes in product or process
● Perform related duties as assigned by the Inspections Supervisor and provide adequate
● Physically inspect cleanliness, furnishings, & fixtures in residential buildings
● Enter requisite facility work orders in proprietary asset management software, verify work completion
● Serve as property operations/maintenance point of contact for facilities’ issues in assigned building(s), unit(s), lab(s)
● Handle property administration by completing tagging, data entry, and inventory
● Serve as safety management coordinator by correcting identified safety issues
