Business analysts work with organizations to help them improve their processes and systems. They conduct research and analysis in order to come up with solutions to business problems and help to introduce these systems to businesses and their clients.
This position is primarily responsible for solving business problems using analytical, technical, and business skills.
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Completes process, data, and work-flow analysis activities with limited direction and guidance
Collects and analyzes business requirements using structured methods producing deliverables such as Business Use Cases, Business Architecture Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, etc.
Testing and quality assurance of business systems developed
Participates in ‘buy verses build’ decisions
Performs ‘gap analysis’ in evaluation of application software packages and makes recommendations to management
Identify conflicting business practices and integration issues, suggesting alternative solutions
Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues to meet expected customer service levels
Project management as assigned (perform at coordinator level)
